This site is for the people who live here. I built it because Playa Vista deserves one place where the information is complete and the voice is local. The listings and the map are the practical part. The photographs are what make it feel like home.
If you have a photo or video on your phone that you love of this neighborhood, I'd love to see it. The light at Central Park on a Saturday morning. The bluff trail in late afternoon. A storm rolling in off the Pacific. A quiet night at The Runway. A happy accident caught at Discovery Park.
Beautiful work, candid moments, mistakes with a mood — all of it. Submissions I feature go on the home page with your name (or your Instagram handle, or anonymous — your call) in the caption.
What we're looking for
- Photos or short videos (iPhone / Android quality is more than fine)
- Something recognizably Playa Vista — the architecture, the parks, the bluff, the people, the light
- Your own work, not reposted from someone else
- No listings or real-estate marketing — this is editorial only
